wearing stripes for the busty H silohoutte:the cunundrum
I read many blogs. I like advice about fashion and how to do the styles based upon my figure challenges. Striped T-shirts are one of my favorite classic looks however they emphasize my busty figure too much. But wait as of late I have thought about alternative ways to include stripes into my wardrobe despite my figure challenges. One way is wear the stripes on the diagonal, so I found a top that does that.
Another way to wear stripes is to find them in a zig-zag form as in a Missonni inspired top.
Yet another trick is to buy a top with low contrast in the stripes.
My newest way was to buy a striped skirt and I think this works best on me. Putting the stripes on my lower half minimizes the broadening effect they can have. Do you like the stripes on the bottom?

DeleteSo good to put so much thought into this very prominent trend! Women who do this always look like they are paying attention to the world around them! I'm fondest of the little gray outfit. Have you considered trying just a classic Breton stripe boatneck tee? Bet it would look grand on you ... great for us busty creatures!
ReplyDeleteThe Breton stripe T-shirt is what I used to wear now I think the cut isn't very flattering on me but I haven't tried one in a long time so before I pou pou it I will try one on. Thanks for stopping by.
